A Memorial for Past and Potential Victims of Gun Violence
In A Memorial for Past and Potential Victims of Gun Violence (2018), participants were invited into two booths, one to trace past victims of gun violence, the other to trace potential victims. Collaborator Elena Makansi and I invited survivors from around country to send us photos and remembrances. For the 7 days that the exhibition was up, someone was always present, continuing to trace. For times that we had class or other obligations, a dozen other community members also lent their support. to maintain the vigil.
