Collaborator Elena Makansi and I cooked food and brought it to the park. We asked folks to write questions, then draw them from a hat as they engaged in conversations with strangers. The gathering of unhoused, artists, Quakers, and engineers gave us the space to learn from and engage with difference as we sought to envision more creative forms of hospitality.
